Chicago Events
Chicago Blues Festival
The Chicago Blues Festival is usually held the first weekend in June. The four-day festival has outdoor concerts on several stages in Grant Park.
Chicago Folk and Roots Festival
This event is held annually in July and features music, dancing and activities for children and families.
Chicago Humanities Festival
This annual November event is held in downtown Chicago and is dedicated to the arts, drama, literature, history, and education.
Chicago Underground Film Festival
This week long annual event is held in September at Landmark's Century Center. Tickets can be bought for a single film or a pass that is good for all the screenings.
Pier Walk
Pier Walk is the world's largest outdoor sculpture exhibition that runs every year from spring through fall.
Taste of Chicago
Taste of Chicago, held in Grant Park, is the largest free outdoor food festival in the United States. For ten days in late June through early July, many of the best restaurants in Chicago sell samples at booths in the park.
