Dallas Overview
In Texas, where everything is bigger and better, Dallas is no different, known to locals as "the big D". Dallas is a big city in the world of business, especially banking, finance, and oil, with soaring skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The city is a sprawling metropolis that reaches all the way to Fort Worth.
Many people come to Dallas for business or a convention and are delighted to find that Dallas has top-notch hotels and restaurants, shopping malls, and a thriving nightlife. Sports are a big source of entertainment with several professional sports teams located in the Dallas area.
