Denver Events
Denver March Pow Wow
Held mid to late March in the Denver Coliseum, more than 1,000 Native Americans from all over the United States and Canada participate in this event of native dancing and activities.
Juneteenth
Juneteenth stands for June 19th , which was the day slavery ended in Texas and is a major festivity of Denver’s black community. This is a three-day event of arts and crafts, food, and other activities.
Festival of Mountain and Plain: A Taste of Colorado
This popular festival runs about four days around the Labor Day weekend in September and is held in the Civic Center. It is one of Denver’s largest annual festivals, featuring samples from local restaurants, arts and crafts, and live entertainment.
