There are a great variety of activities to be found within the metropolitan Knoxville area from the Sunsphere to the Knoxville Zoo. If you have an extra day, go southeast along Highway 441 on the way to The Smokey Mountains to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and then on into the Smokies.
The achievements of Knoxville’s black citizens are showcased in this museum. The gallery exhibits works of local and regional artists.
