San Francisco EventsChinatown Each February, Chinatown is host to one of San Francisco’s most popular celebrations, Chinese New Year. Week-long festivities culminate in a huge downtown parade, featuring a block-long Golden Dragon. Haight-Ashbury The Haight Street Fair is held in June and is one of San Francisco’s most famous neighborhood celebrations.
